These stately sycamore trees stand tall in my backyard. The dappled light on the grass repeats the dappled grey of the shaggy bark of the tree. To give a sense of how tall these trees are, I didn't show the top canopy. Your eyes are taken skyward to where the leaves should be, but the strong horizontal of the ground brings you back to the solid images.

Artists working together simultaneously is highly unconventional, or outre. That was how the name Outre Art came to be. Two artists with different styles and subject matter interests collaborated in pastel to create a new style. We wanted viewers to look at subject matter differently and encourage them to look at everyday objects with a new eye. We are no longer working together, but I continue to pursue my art and keep our collaborative images available for sale. Creating landscapes that express my emotional attachment to a place is just part of who I am. That creativity spills over into the rest of my work and the unique one of a kind jewelry is the result.
