Broken Bulb metal print by Outre Art Natalie Eisen.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

We thought a still life of garlic would be white. However, as we peeled back the layers of the clove, the surprise was that there was so much color to be discovered within the subject. The light changed colors as it penetrated the papery skin. The imagery became very graphic and almost abstract. The tongue in cheek name of this piece is an apt description.

Artists working together simultaneously is highly unconventional, or outre. That was how the name Outre Art came to be. Two artists with different styles and subject matter interests collaborated in pastel to create a new style. We wanted viewers to look at subject matter differently and encourage them to look at everyday objects with a new eye. We are no longer working together, but I continue to pursue my art and keep our collaborative images available for sale. Creating landscapes that express my emotional attachment to a place is just part of who I am. That creativity spills over into the rest of my work and the unique one of a kind jewelry is the result.
